Three days National Throwball Course successfully wrapped up

Pakistan Throwball Federation and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Throwball Association in collaboration with Baragali University Peshawar Campus (KPK) organized the National Throwball, Rope Skipping, Rocball Courses 2020.

Throwball Course 2020 was to be conducted at Batakundi Naran but venue had to be shifted due to heavy rain and land sliding to Baragali University of Peshawar Campus KP.

A total of 120 male and female athletes, coaches, technical officials and school teachers from all over the country and students of educational institutions have participated in the course. 

Throwball, Rope Skipping and Rocball officials comprising: Aisha Razzak, Ivan Fedrick, Abu Sufyan, Masoom Abbas, Fazal, Qasir, Shariq Siddqui, Maqbool Arain have delivered the lectures with perfection, Ground Drills were demonstrated with Skills, Footwork, Techniques.

Besides providing awareness about the rules of throwball, shape skipping and rockball, practice matches were also held.

 Mr. Muhammad Razzaq Gill President PTF was the chief guest at the opening ceremony and Ms. Faiza Amir, President Pakistan Women Throwball Association was the chief guest of the closing ceremony.

In this occasion Col. Nasir Tung Secretary Boxing Federation, Maqbool Arain Secretary PTF, Adnan Vohra V.President PTF, Arshad Hussain Secretary KP Throwball, Rana Sajjad Secretary Punjab, Manzoor Saprah Secretary Baluchistan, Rasheed Deputy Director, Higher Education, Saleem S.V President Rope Skipping Federation were among the distinguished guests.

Mr Maqbool Arain has announced that:

 “The Pakistan Throwball team will be participating in 1st South Asian Throwball Championship 2021 at Bangladesh from 27th to 30th March”.
