Jubilee Insurance in Main final, Army seals subsidiary final of Shah Rafi Polo Cup

Jubilee Insurance thrashed Diamond Paints by 5 ½ - 4 goals in the all-important match as they started the game with one and half goal handicap advantage while Hamza Mawaz once again turned the hero of the match as he thwarted three goals and Edward Bannireve contributed 1 goal. Eulogio Celestino banged in a hat-trick while Agha Musa Ali Khan struck 1 goal.
First chukker was equally poised as both the teams finished with 1-1.

Jubilee Insurance with flying start in second chukker banged in 2 more goals to take 3-1 lead but Diamond Paints reduces the lead to 3-2 in the last minutes of second chukker. Diamond Paints scored the only goal of third chukker and leveled the score 3-3. Both the teams once again score 1 goal each in the fourth and chukker and the match ended on 4-4 but 1 and half goal handicap advantage was too much for Diamond Paints as Jubilee Insurance/Master Paints clear their ways to the final after thrashing Diamond Paints by 5 ½ - 4 goals.

Earlier the match was played between Army, Master Paints Black and Artema Medical teams under American system. Army defeated Artema Medical team first by 4-2 and then outplayed Master Paints 3-2 ½ and qualifies for the subsidiary final. Master Paints Black also won its match against Artema Medical by 3-2 ½.

Tomorrow, in the first match Outfitters will play against Guard Group at 2:00 pm while Barry’s will face Rijas/Green Orchard challenge in the second encounter of the day at 3:00 pm.
