Saqib Khakwani hits four goals in Spring Polo Cup

Newage/Master Paints and Habib Bank Limited (HBL) won their respective matches in the Spring Polo Cup here on Wednesday.

In the first match, Newage/Master Paints crushed Magic River 8-3½.

For the winners, the main scorers were Sufi Haroon (3), Sufi Aamir (2), Ahmed Ali Tiwana (2) and Alman Jalil Azam (1).

Shah Qubilai Alam and Hassan Agha slammed in one goal each for the losing side which had 1½ goal handicap.

In the second match, four goals by Saqib Khan Khakwani helped HBL trounce Rijas 9-3½.

The other scorers for the winners were Sufi Farooq (2), Taimur Ali Malik (2) and Shaharyar Bukhari (1).

For the losing side, Ahmed Zubair Butt (2) and Atif Tiwana (1) were the scorers, while half goal was the handicap.
