Waste Busters and Terra Engery dominated in Seasons Canola Polo Cup
Waster Busters and Terra Energy shows impressive game and secured victories against the Diamond paints and Pebble Breakers on the 2nd day of Seasons Canola Polo Cup 2017 played at Lahore Polo Club ground.
Waste Busters in the first match outclasses Diamond Paints in a one sided contest by 9-3. Diamond Paints off to a flying start and scored a hat-trick on the other side Diamond paints tried hard to meet the pace of the game and scored a brace in the second chukker and went behind to Waste Busters by 3-2. Third and fourth chukkers were completely dominated by Waste Busters and smashed 6 more goals to take an incontestable 9-3 lead.
Ahmed Zubair with his fabulous 4 goals take major part in the victory of Waster busters while Ahmed Nawaz Tiwana hit a hat-trick and Abdul Rehman Monnoo scored a brace. Mir Huzaifa scored a brace while Omar Asjad Malhi hit a goal for Diamond paints.
In the second Match of the day, Terra Energy routed Pebble Breakers by 7-2½. Pebble Breakers entered the game with a handicap advantage of half goal but they couldn’t capitalized against the good game of Teraa Energy.
Pebble Breakers did not score a single goal in the 1st chukker but Terra Energy contributed two goals to make the lead to 1-½. In the second chukker Terra Energy hammered two more goals to further strengthen the lead but Faisal Khan from Pebble Brekers hit a goal to reduce the deficit to 4-1½.
Third chukker was also dominated by Tera Energy and they scored two beautiful field goals and bigger the lead to 6-1½. Pebble Breakers in the last chukker tried to catch Pebble Breakers but only managed to score just a single goal. In the dying moments of the match, Terra Energy hammered another goal and finished the match on the score of 7-2½.
Two more matches will be played today at Lahore Polo Club ground.
