Tenacious Pricemeter Polo Cup 2021 begins today

The eight-goal Tenacious Pricemeter Polo Cup 2021 will get underway here at the Jinnah Polo & Country Club (JP&CC) ground tomorrow (Monday).

JP&CC President Lt Col (r) Shoaib Aftab has stated that a total of seven teams are participating in this event, which are divided into two pools.

Pool A: Platinum Homes, Pricemeter and AOS.

Pool B: Barry’s, Zacky Farms, Pricemeter.pk Black and FG Polo/Diamond Paints.

The inaugural match will be contested between Platinum Homes and Pricemeter today (Monday) at 2:30 pm at JP&CC ground.

Col (r) Shoaib said that with this tournament, the high-goal season has been commencing in which high-quality polo will be seen with top national and international polo players making the events more enthralling and exciting. He also thanked Pricemeter.pk and especially Sufi Muhammad Amir for sponsoring this event.

Sufi Muhammad Haris is an executive committee member of JP&CC and belongs to polo-loving family, which has honour of having a good number of polo players. Besides himself, his brother Sufi M Haris, Farooq Amin Sufi, son Sufi M Uzair and nephew Sufi M Haroon also play polo and this family has great contribution towards promotion of this game in the country.
