The Faisal Bank Polo Cup 2016 will roll into action here at the historical Lahore Polo Club (LPC) today (Tuesday).

In all, six teams will be seen in action during the tournament, which are divided into two pools.
Pool A consists of RIJAS, Magic River and Noon, while pool B comprises Master Paints/Barry’s, Olympia/Master Paints Guard Group.
In the first match of the day to be played at 3:30pm, RIJAS will take on Magic River while Master Paints/Barry’s will vie against Olympia/Master Paints in the second match fo the day at 4:30pm.
Lahore Polo Club president Irfan Ali Hyder said that he would term this year’s polo season as one of the best and the most challenging which provided the players and fans best opportunities to witness high-quality and enthralling polo throughout the season.
“After the high-goal events, the season is moving towards great finishing.
With pleasant weather and grassy as well as international-standard Aibak polo ground, this tournament will also prove an interesting and entertaining one and the polo enthusiast will get a chance to witness action-packed polo matches,” Irfan added.
