Batmans Team take the crown of Neighborhood Basketball League 2019

Batmans defeated Bahrains 71-62 to take home the finale victory of Neighborhood Basketball League 2019 which successfully wound up at Neighborhood Park Clifton, Karachi.

 

The stage for the final game of Neighborhood Basketball League 2019 was set where, after a long season the final two teams remaining were the dominant Bahrians and Batmans, whose players were seen competing with all their talent against each other so as to emerge the sole winner of the title. 

Both teams had only lost one game until the finals and were determined to take the trophy home. With the benches depleted, both teams battled till the end, where Ali J. hit a dagger that the Bahrian’s could not recover from and lost the final to the strong, Batmans, who then took the triumph of the league on the final score line as 71-62. 

The NBL Finals MVP went to Abdullah Shah of Batmans team for his 21 points with 5 assist and 7 rebounds. Other honorable mentions include the runner up team side's, Bakhtiyar who managed to score 23 points with 2 Assists and 15 rebounds in the final. 

Asad Ali and Ali J. both from the winner team proved to be the key players who contributed well to this title win of their teams with their 25 points with 5 assists, 2 rebounds and 11 points with 3 assists and 11 rebounds, respectively. 

FINAL SCORE CARD


The Karachi City Neighborhood Basketball League was undoubtedly a recreational league encompassing a positive environment, low-key competition, an emphasis on sophistication and evolution, and a focus on good sportsmanship and having fun. 

It was organized for the basketball lovers from the city of lights: Karachi, into the current year that featured a total of six teams, players from whom were seen competing with all their skills against each other so as to earn the ultimate title of this league among which, the title winner now stands as the Batmans team.

The six participating teams namely were: Dragons, Batmans, Bahrias, Blazers, Lums Big 3 and IBA.
