Star studded Diamond Paints won the Members Polo Cup by defeating Army Remounts in the final. Match was finished 9-6 at the full time.
Final match was played between Diamond Paints and Army Remounts at Lahore Polo Club ground on Sunday. Diamond Paints won the match by 9-6.
Saqib of Diamond Paint was instrumental in the final and led his side to victory. He not only scored a ha-trick in the final but also assisted goals to his team mates. Taimur also scored a hat-rick for the Diamond Paints.
Hamza of Army Remounts also played brilliantly and scored 3 goals but that were not enough to save Army Remounts from the defeat.
Former Chief of Army Staff Gen Jehangir Karamat NI(M) was the chief guest on the occasion while LPC President Irfan Ali Hyder, former LPC chief and IOC member in Pakistan Syed Shahid Ali, all the executive committee members and a large size of crowd were also present there to witness the high-goal event final.
