Hissam heroic wins December Polo Cup for United Snacks

United Snacks wins the title against the team who had a record of playing 3 successive polo cup finals and were very much favorites but then Hissam came and shifted the game towards his team to win the charged final by 7-6.

Hissam was in splendid form as he contributed 6 goals while Azam Hayat Noon fired the winning goal from United Snacks. The combine effort of inform Bilal Haye and Ahmed Ali Tiwana went in vain as they could not manage to defend the goal post in the sudden death chukker. Bilal Haye pumped in 5 goals while Ahmed Ali Tiwana added 1 for Honda Chenab.
Honda Chenab took charge in the very first chukker as Bilal Haye scored a beautiful field goal and takes 1-0 lead and Ahmed Ali Tiwana added 1 more goal to enhance the lead to 2-0. In the last moments of first chukker, Hissam Ali Haider fired a fabulous field goal to reduce the lead 2-1.

The second chukker was equally dominated by both teams as both the teams added 2 goals each. Hissam Ali Haider added a brace for United Snacks while top performer Bilal Haye converted 2 goals for his team. At the end of second chukker, Honda Chenab was leading by 4-3. Bilal Haye once again dominated the third chukker and banged 2 more goals to take 6-3 laed for his team.

In the fourth chukker, Bilal Haye came to rescue United Snacks as he hammered 3 goals to level the match 6-6 and none of the goal was scored after that. The match was then entered on sudden death chukker and it was Azam Hayat Noon who fired the winning goal to take his team home safely with the winning trophy. Saqib Khan Khakwani and Raja Arslan Najeeb supervised the match as field umpires.

Former Pakistan Ambassador Khalid Ameer Khan graced the final as chief guest, who along with LPC executive committee members Omar Sadiq, gave away winning trophy to United Snack team and also distributed prizes and souvenirs among the top performers.
