Ghulam Saadi Abbas Jalbani


Achievements

Saadi is a renowned karate fighter of Pakistan as he stands as five times National gold medalist from 2005 to 2009 and became the first ever Asian Champion in all South Asian region in the year 2011. He is also Islamic Games vice Champion.

2006

Saadi grabbed gold medal in 10th South Asian Games held in Colombo.

2007

Abbas took 5th spot in Asian Karate Championship in Malaysia and then ended his journey as a Quarter finalist at Junior and Cadet World Karate Championship in Istanbul.

2008

Jalbani finished 7th at 19th World Karate Championship in Tokyo and captured his second gold medal in All Arabs Clubs Karate Championship Kuwait. He added two more golds in his cap when he claimed double golds at National Games. 

2009

Ghulam Saadi Abbas clinched gold at 5th Commonwealth Karate Championships held in Johannesburg. 

2010

Saadi Abbas clinched silver at 11th South Asian Games that were held in Dhaka. 

2011

He earned another gold at 10th Asian Karate Championship in Quanzhou, China. 

2012

He grabbed a bronze in Tashkant Asian Karate Championship. 

2013

Saadi stood as a bronze medalist at Dubai Asian Karate Championship and then collected a gold in Commonwealth Karate Championships, Montreal. 

2014

He took another gold medal at US Open Karate Championships. 

2017

Abbas got two more golds at South Asian Championship and UAE President Karate Championship.

2018

Saadi stood at the top spots in both: UAE Karate League and UAE Open Karate Championship to claim gold medals.

2019

Jalbani stands as the gold medalist of UAE Open Karate Championship and 13th South Asian Games.

Saadi Abbas Jalbani was born on the 1st January 1988 in Lyari Town Karachi South, Pakistan. He is a Pakistani karate competitor who started Karate in 1996 when he was 7 years old and now stands as a black belt in karate.
