Babar Azam Poised to Break T20I Records in Upcoming Series Against England

To surpass Virat Kohli’s total runs in T20Is, Babar needs 82 more runs. The current standings are: Virat Kohli with 4037 runs in 109 innings, Rohit Sharma with 3974 runs in 143 innings, and Babar Azam with 3955 runs in 110 innings. Achieving this would place Babar among the very top T20I run-scorers globally.

Additionally, with 48 more runs, Babar will become the only captain to score 2500 T20I runs, further distinguishing him as a top player and leader who consistently contributes to his team’s success.

Recently, Babar set a world record during the T20I series against Ireland, becoming the most successful T20I captain with 45 wins. This surpassed the previous record held by Brian Masaba of Uganda, who had 44 wins as captain.
