Judoka Shah Hussain Shah qualifies for Tokyo Olympics 2021

President Pakistan Judo Federation Col Junaid Alam, TI (M) has announced that the Olympian Judoka Shah Hussain has once again qualified for Olympics.

President Pakistan Judo Federation Col Junaid Alam, TI (M) has announced that the Olympian Judoka Shah Hussain has once again qualified for Olympics.

Final list has been released and International Judo Federation has sent qualification confirmation email addressing to President POA and Pakistan Judo Federation on early morning, 23 Jun 2021, which is conveniently celebrated as World Olympic day.

Despite missing last four qualifying events / World championship (two due to suffering from COVID and 2 due to visa issue), Shah maintained his top ranking in Asian Continent after direct qualifiers for more than two years, finally making it to Tokyo Olympics 2021.

Shah Hussain Shah represented Pakistan in numerous international venues in last decade including Rio 2016 Olympics (by qualification) and earned many medals. He is Commonwealth Games Silver medalist, Asian Double bronze medalist, Four times South Asian Medalist, Current South Asian Champion, and a National Champion since 2017.

His Japanese Coach Mr Kobayashi Yusuki (World bronze medalist) is training him hard in Tokyo.
