KMC ensure revival of sports activities at playgrounds: Laeeq Ahmed

KMC Administrator Laeeq Ahmed Khan has announced that the Karachi’s sports activities will activities will be fully revived once the coronavirus pandemic subsides while playgrounds all around the city will be made available to people to participate in healthy activities which will help in building a healthy society.

This was stated in a meeting with veteran sports organisers, including Chairman Shamsi Academy Khalid Jamil Shamsi and President Karachi Basketball Association Ghulam Mohammad.

Laeeq said KMC will continue to support sports events in Karachi including tennis, basketball, football, cricket etc.

“I feel proud to say that KMC has always been at the forefront in organising sports events during the past many decades and also held a grand event on Pakistan Day and last year as well. We are also determined to remove all sorts of encroachments from all the playgrounds in the city and revive sports activities for the citizens of this great city,” said Laeeq.
