Karachi School Games 2020-21 commences today

Pakistan School Sports Olympics (PSSO) is organising the Karachi School Games 2020-21 at different venues of the city from 18th January to enhance the skills and encourage the participation of the youth at the grassroots level.

Gohar Raza, president PSSO, outlining the details of the Karachi School- College Games, said his organisation has been diligently working for sports promotion and development since the last 20 years.  

The various sports to be organised during the Games, which are to be staged in collaboration with Jubilee Insurance.

Schedule of the event:

•  T20 cricket (boys) Jan 18-29
• football (boys) Jan 30-Feb 7
• basketball (boys & girls) Feb 5 to- Feb 12
• table tennis (boys & girls) Feb 26-28
• badminton (boys & girls) Feb 26-28
• swimming (girls) March 13
• swimming (boys ) March 14
• Fastest boy and girl competition March 23.

The schools and colleges which will be participating in the Games include The Lyceum School, Cedar College, Nixor College, Karachi Grammar School, Alpha College, Credo College, The City School PAF Chapter, Whales College, Highbrow College, Beacon House Jubilee Campus, The City School Darakhshsan, Habib Public School, Beacon House School PECHS branch, Bay View College, Meritorious School, The City School Gulshan, Beacon House North, Beacon House Gulshan.
