Sindh Games Association (SGA) appreciation award ceremony begins today

The appreciation award ceremony for the players who won medals besides the officials who performed well in all the 17 editions of the Sindh Games commenced today(Friday) at the Marriott Hotel, Karachi.

A total of 509 players and officials, who performed exceptionally, have enrolled their names for the honors functions which have been scheduled by the Sindh Games Association (SGA). 

The awards will be given to 118 personalities including outstanding players, officials and sports journalists.

The first awards ceremony will be held in Karachi and then in other five major cities of the province, including Larkana, Benazirabad, Mirpur Khas, Sukkur and Hyderabad respectively.

In Karachi the award ceremony is set to be held on today (2nd October) between 2:30 pm to 3:30 pm at Crystal Ballroom, Marriot Hotel, Karachi.

In addition, the talented duo of Mohammad Rashid and Fatima Nasreen, who recently set a Guinness world record for Pakistan, will also be honored with awards.

The impressive awards ceremony will be hosted by South Asian gold medalist and track & field Queen Naseem Hameed and Olympian Syed Sameer Hussain.

All players and officials have been informed that entry in the function will not be possible without registration cards and SOPs of Covid-19 have been made mandatory on Friday.
