Sindh Olympic Association to meet incredible long jumper Asif Magsi

Asif Magsi, an ambitious long jumper from Thatta, whose videos have turned into a web sensation, has captured the attention of Sindh Olympic Association (SOA).

SOA secretary Ahmed Ali Rajput says that the association would be meeting him soon and would perceive how it could help Magsi.

AFP President Maj Gen (r) M Akram Sahi said that he had also seen Magsi’s videos and was keen to meet him.

The 21-year-old young man made a long jump over 11 whole motorbikes without his feet touching any of them, while in another video, he has jumped over a lake covering an extensive distance with a Pakistani flag in his hand. Both the videos got immense attention as a lot of fans posted about the overnight sensation.

Meanwhile, AFP secretary Muhammad Zafar told PPI that the federation has established contact with Magsi and would meet him soon to see what potential the boy possesses. He can be put in the national training process after he proves his mettle, he added.
