Pakistan to host Asian Throwball Championship 2020

Pakistan Throwball Federation will hold the Asian Throwball Championship, which will be attended by 9 countries.

The Asian Throwball Federation has allocated the hosting rights of Asian Throwball Championship to Pakistan.

Pakistan will be hosting its first significant international event in the current pandemic condition when it holds the Asian Throwball Championship, which will be attended by 9 countries.

Total 9 nations will be seen competing in the championship which are:
1. Malaysia
2. Pakistan
3. Sri Lanka
4. India
5. Bangladesh
6. Indonesia
7. Singapore
8. Thailand and
9. Cambodia

Mr Maqbool Arain, the Secretary-General World Throwball Federation said that it is a great achievement for Pakistan to host the Asian Championship despite the corona crisis. However, he did not reveal the exact date of the championship.

India declared the champions of 1st edition of Asian Throwball Championship which was held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia while Sri-Lanka secured the runner-up spot.
