Irfan Mehsood breaks Guinness World Record of an Indian by 72 side lunges in one minute

With an ambition to endorse the softer image of Waziristan, the martial arts athlete Irfan Mehsood has achieved another feat, by cracking the record for the most side lungs in one minute previously held by an Indian.

An endowed martial artist, Irfan who hails from Dera Ismail Khan, has captured his 28th Guinness World Record by performing 72 side lunges in one minute.


Irfan, beat the previous record of an award-winning Indian taekwondo competitor, Bode Sai Deepak, of 59 side lunges in 60 seconds. Deepak also holds the records for most full-contact elbow strikes in one minute, most full contact knee strikes in three minutes, and most full contact knee strikes while wearing 11-pound ankle weights.  

Previously, proficient Irfan broke the 6 Guinness World Record of Indians. With this feat, Irfan has now become the 28th Guinness Book of World Records holder.
