Sultan Azlan Shah Hockey Cup postponed over coronavirus fears

Malaysian Hockey Federation has postponed the Sultan Azlan Shah Cup Hockey Tournament 2020 over the fears of global outbreak of corona-virus and will be rescheduled from September 24 – October 2.

 

Malaysian Hockey Federation has postponed the Sultan Azlan Shah Cup Hockey Tournament over the fears of global outbreak of coronavirus.

The tournament was scheduled to be held from April 11 -18 in Ipoh Malaysia and Pakistan hockey team was also confirmed to take part in the event.

However, the organisers have postponed the event for the safety of the players and now this event will be held from September 24 – October 2 in the Malaysian City of Ipoh.

The PHF has to initiate second phase of the training camp for the event from March 5 and that has also been now scrapped.
