Umar Khan, Ahsan Ramzan in summit clash of U-18 National Ranking Championship

Mohammad Umar Khan and Ahsan Ramzan set a title clash by defeating their respective opponents in the semifinals of Jubilee Insurance U-18 National Ranking Championship 2020 being held at Pakistan Sports Complex, Islamabad.

 

The Jubilee Insurance U-18 National Ranking Championship 2020 saw every single thing related to snooker in the semifinals fixtures whether it was potting, planting snooker, break building or the safety, everything was summed up in third day.

At the Pakistan Sports Complex Islamabad, Mohammad Umar Khan and Ahsan Ramzan set a final clash date by defeating their respective opponents.

In the first semi-final, Punjab’s Umer scored tournament's highest break of 106 against Shehryar Khan of Sindh and sealed berth into the final with the score line of 70-31, 73-43, 106-8 (106), 59-17.

Meanwhile, recently concluded Jubilee Insurance 2nd U16 National Championship 2020 title winner, Ahsan Ramzan, also of Punjab, recorded a comfortable 70-07, 63-49, 71-41, 60-1 victory against province-mate Shehryar Abbas in the other semi-final. 

Earlier in the quarter-finals, Umar defeated Zubair Tahir of Punjab 4-0 (59-2, 67-41, 60-2, 58-18); Shehryar beat Malik Muzammil Khan of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa 4-1 (56-30, 57-52, 35-68, 85-0, 55-43); Ahsan overwhelmed Mohammad Hamza Ilyas of Punjab 4-0 (66-44, 83-65, 74-09, 76-48(64)); and Mohammad Shehryar Abbas overcame Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s Kamran Albert Masih 4-2 (50-60, 65-32, 65-03, 62-13, 60-61,71-30).
