Sindh Squad selected for National Men & Women Karate Championships 2019

Sindh Squad which is to part take in 27th National Men Karate Championship & 13th National Women Karate Championship have been announced, championships are slated to be held from 23rd to 25th August at Gymnasium Hall, Nishtar Park Sports Complex in Lahore.

 
The trials of Sindh Men and Women teams to participate in the upcoming National Men and Women Karate Championships 2019 were held on 4th August, 2019 at Gymnasium Hall, Karachi in which following players have been selected in various weights and events for both men and women categories:- 

Men team:-
1. Individual Kumite
a) below 50 KG: Abid Hussain
b) below 55 KG: Saeed Ali
c) below 60 KG: Syed Azam
d) below 67 KG: Abdul Jabbar
e) below 75 KG: Shabbir Hussain
f) below 84 KG: Moiz Ali
g) above 84 KG: Muhammad Tahir
2. Individual Kata: Hamza Abdullah
3. Team Kata: Syed KabirAli, Wajahat Wasti, Hamza Abdullah
4. Team Kumite: Muhammad Sharjeel Siddiqui

Women team:-
1. Individual Kumite
a) below 45 KG: Tahreem Faisal
b) below 50 KG: Ayesha Furqan
c) below 55 KG: Sadia Sharif
d) below 61 KG: Shehzeen Siddiqui
e) below 68 KG: Syeda Alisha
f) above 68 KG: Tabita
2. Individual Kata: Ayesha Furqan
3. Team Kata: Aqsa, Ayesha Furqan, Nuzrah
4. Team Kumite: Sidra Saeed Khan & Aisha Siddiqa.

Officials: Abdul Hameed, Abdul Rahim, Karamatullah Khan, Muhammad Moin Dhedhi, Wasif Ali and Parveen Lodhi.

The Sindh Squad have already reached Karachi and will return back on 27th August. 

Under auspices of Pakistan Karate Federation (PKF), the 2019 editions of National Men Karate Championship and National Women Karate Championship are being organized which would mark their 27th and 13th editions respectively and will be held in Lahore. These championships will roll into action from today and will continue for the next three days.
