Sindh crown champion of National Throwball Championship 2019
Sindh and Balochistan claimed the Women’s and Men's titles respectively in the National Men and Women Throwball Championship which successfully concluded at Peshawar University in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
The Men category of the National Men and Women Throwball Championship 2019 witnessed Balochistan team coming out to stand on the top as the players stunned their opponents of Sindh team defeating them by 25-23. The third position match winner in the same category was again, the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa team as they did not have any difficult time to earn this win, ending the match on 2-0 sets: 25-16 and 25-19.
But in the Women category, Sindh team proved to be much stronger as they won the final by beating the favorites Culligan team easily on two sets and claimed the victory. The sets were: 25-19 and 25-18. Whereas Khyber Pakhtunkhwa finished third after defeating Punjab entirely on 2 sets: 25-23, 25-19. Sindh also managed the win the mixed category event.
The National Men and Women Throwball Championship 2019 was organized under the auspicious of Pakistan Throwball Federation (PTF) in collaboration of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Throwball Association that featured competitions were featured in both men and women categories. Throwball players of various provinces, schools and colleges of the country were seen competing in the upcoming matches so as to earn the title of the championship.
