National Men & Women Throwball Championship 2019 move to final stage
Culligan and Sindh teams in women while Baluchistan and Sindh in men category win against their respective opponents to qualify for the finals of 2019 National Men & Women Throwball Championship which is being played at Peshawar University in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
The semi finals matches of both category categories were played yesterday in which Sindh team in both categories while Culligan in women and Baluchistan in men category made their way into the finals of the championship.
Culligan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa teams were battling for a place in the final of the championship in the first match of the day in which the strong Culligan team managed to easily over come the opponent players as they finished the match in a one-sided encounter. It was a win of 2-0 sets for Culligan team. While in the other semi-final encounter of women category witnessed Sindh team's convincing win over Punjab girls by 2-0 sets as they made it to the final of the championship.
Whereas the third position match in the same category saw Khyber Pakhtunkhwa taking away the win against Punjab team in a much struggled game by 2-1 sets. Noe the final between Sindh and Culligan women throwball teams will be played today.
The semi-final matches' winners in the Men category stood Balochistan and Sindh as both the teams out-scored Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Punjab teams respectively by 2-0 and qualified for the finals of the championship.
The third position match winner in the same category is Khyber Pakhtunkhwa yet again as the team did not have any difficult time to earn this win, ending the match on 2-0 sets. The final will noe be played between Sindh and Baluchistan teams today.
The semi-finals matches were graced by the Secretary General, Pakistan Throwball Federation (PTF), Maqbool Arian, President Women Wing, Faiza Amir, General Secretary, KPK Throwball Association, Arshad Hussain, Senior Vice President, Jaffar Ali Shah, Zaheer GB Secretary, Association who were the honorable guests at the occasion.
The National Men and Women Throwball Championship 2019 is being held under the auspicious of Pakistan Throwball Federation (PTF) in collaboration of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Throwball Association.
