2019 National Throwball Championship's women event reaches semi-final stage

KPK, Sindh, Culligan Karachi and Punjab teams qualified for the semi-final matches to be played into the 2019 National Throwball Championship's women event which is being held at Peshawar University in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

On the second day of this National Championship, ten (10) more matches were played in which Culligan, Sindh, Punjab, Gilgit Baltistan, Islamabad, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and FATA teams won the matches against their opponents, respectively in the women's category. 

The very first match for the day witness Culligan team's win over Baluchistan which they earned through hard efforts due to the difficult time given to them by the opponent team as well as they won the match on a 2-1 score line. But Culligan women's team win did not just stop here as the won their other match against Islamabad too but this time they were rather at ease as they won the game convincingly on a 2-0 score line. 

Then Sindh and Punjab teams easily won their matches against Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Islamabad teams by 2-0 as well but Sindh team suffered loss in their other match against Gilgit-Baltistan as they were weak in their performance and were not able to score at all thus losing the match by 2-0. FATA team first fell toKhyber Pakhtunkhwa by 2-0 but enjoyed one win over Gilgit-Baltistan 2-0 in their other match. Ilsmabad only won one of its match as the team over powered Police team by 2-0. The last match of the women's team saw Punjab's win by beating Balochistan 2-0. 

In the men’s event, Police teameasily defeated Punjab 2-0 in the first match played then KP teams won both of its matches, first over Abul Wali Khan University and then against FATA, both on a 2-0 score line. In the last match, Abul Wali Khan University suffered another fall against Sindh by 2-0.

MPA Soomi Falak Niaz was the respectable guest of honor who witnessed the quarter-final matches being played into the championship.
