Lahore Region wins Quaid-E-Azam Darts Cup 2019
Lahore district lifted the 2nd Quaid-E-Azam Darts Cup as well after winning Quaid-E-Azam Wushu Cup 2019 at Nishtar Park Sports Complex Gymnasium Hall in Lahore.
The second edition of Quaid-E-Azam Darts Cup was organized by Divisional and District Sports Office Lahore under the supervision of Sports Board Punjab (SBP) in which several skillful players exhibited their accuracy talent so as to win top honors in the event.
Asif of Lahore made three successful wins, first in Men’s Singles event where he stood at the top and then in Men’s Doubles event along with Rashad, also from Lahore claiming the third position. Also in Men’s Team event he along side Rashad, Moeez and Usman once again won the top spot. Another one who contributed in the region's win was Ayyan Butt who stands on the first position of Boys’ Singles event. Whereas, Shiza and Ayza won the top spot in Girls’ Doubles event and also Shiza managed the third position win in Girls’ Singles event for Lahore.
Following are the detailed results of the matches contested:
Men’s Singles event: 1. Asif (Lahore), 2. Akhtar (Multan), 3. Jaffar (Multan).
Men’s Doubles event: 1. Jaffar and Akhtar (Multan), 2. Sarfraz and Ehsan (Rawalpindi), 3. Asif and Rashad (Lahore).
Men’s team event: 1. Lahore (Asif, Rashad, Moeez, Usman), 2.Faisalabad (Babar, Arshad, Adnan, Mujahid), 3. Multan (Mukhtar, Jaffar, Ayan, Akbar).
Boys’ singles event: 1. Ayyan Butt (Lahore), 2. Abdul Moeez (Faisalabad), 3. Adnan (Faisalabad).
Girls’ singles event: 1. Bushra (Faisalabad), 2. Madiha (Faisalabad), 3. Shiza (Lahore).
Girls’ doubles event: 1. Shiza and Ayza (Lahore), 2. Bushra and Madiha (Faisalabad), 3. Aliya and Mahnoor.
Secretary Sports Punjab, Nadeem Mehboob was honorable chief guest who declared the event open on the colorful opening ceremony of the event.
