Karachi emerges winner over Askari Alphas in SSB Cup Quaid-e-Azam Basketball Tournament

This mega Quaid-e-Azam Basketball Tournament has been organized by Sindh Sports Board in collaboration with PSWA which is featuring top basketball teams from all over the city of lights; Karachi from which several players are giving their all to win the title of the tournament.  

The tournament advances to the semi-final stage with Karachi, Neighborhood and Bounce basketball clubs making their way when Neighborhood Club made Nishter Club fall on 58-48 and Bounce club earned a hard fought win over Omega club by a 57-51 score-line.

While the another team that qualified for the semi-final game is Karachi Basketball Club as they crushed the powerful opponents Askari Alphas by a 65-53 score.

Both teams leveled with each other four times and then the match went into extra time in which Karachi boys emerged as the winners. Jazib Ahmed scored the most 26 points for the winning team while Fuzail and Zain contributed in the win through their 18 and 12 points.

Similarly, Muhammad Hussain and Syed Bakhtiar with their 20 points worked hard to book their place in the semi-final stage but were not able to win even with 19 more points from Shameer.

The semi-finals matches will be played today at Arambagh basketball courts in Karachi.
