SSB Cup Quaid-e-Azam Basketball Tournament 2019 advances to the quarter-final stage

The first game between Clifton Crossover Club and Askari Alphas basketball teams in the seniors categories witnessed Clifton Crossover Club players, as a whole worked hard enough to earn the victory by defeating the opponents on a 53-45 score-line.  

Their key player proved to be Saad Khan as he scored top points, dubbing 15 points right into the basketball and claimed the win for his team along with Irtiza Hassan who contributed through 11 points and with Sheroz Asif and Nauman Khan’s 10 shots each.

However, the losing side was also well prepared as they lost the match on a close call for which the credit goes to the star player Shameer Zaheer who made it to the basket 16 times and Syed Bakhtiar with 10 points and Hassam Talha’s 6 points in total.

Whereas in the other clash played, Karachi Basketball Club’s basketball team battled with Binoria Club in which they crushed the opponents by their thrilling performance on 62-43. The players of the winning team displayed a splendid game and tamed the losing team as they were certain to book their place in the quater-final game and what made it possible was their shooting accuracy 24 times by Wajeeh Abbas along with talented Zain Ul Abedin who shot 15 points.

For the losing side, Syed Amin who managed an incredible score of 28 points by the well assistance of Abdul Aziz who scored 9 points. Also, Saif Ullah contributed through 4 points.

This tournament has been organized by Sindh Sports Board in collaboration with PSWA which is featuring top basketball teams from all over the city of lights; Karachi from which several players are giving their all to win the title of the championship.
