Narowal clinches 3-team SBP Inter-Tehsil Annual Sports Calendar 2018-19 Handball title
More Handball and Kabaddi competitions’ winners came up in the 2018-19 SBP Inter-Tehsil Annual Sports Calendar which is being staged in various cities at different venues.
The Sports Board Punjab (SBP) Annual Sports Calendar 2018-19 competitions are being organized throughout Punjab as per directives of Director General Sports Punjab, Nadeem Sarwar and the competitions are continued across the province in full swing in which players belonging to their respective city teams are showing their skills in different sports.
36 players of three (3) tehsils which include: Narowal, Zafarwal and Shakargarh took part in the Handball competitions held at Government Ghulam Fatima Girls High School in Narowal, in which the host city girls emerged as the title winners while Zafarwal finished on the runner-up spot in this competition.
While in the Kabaddi competitions staged at Sports Stadium Toba Tek Singh, Tehsil Mandi Bahauddin defeated Tehsil Phalia without facing any pressure of losing though their incredible grounding skills. Also the host city, Tehsil Toba Tek Singh boys claimed the title of Kabaddi event by beating Kamalia district in the final match.
