Lahore bags SBP Inter-Tehsil Annual Sports Calendar 2018-19 Athletics title

The Annual Sports Calendar 2018-19 competitions are being organized throughout Punjab as per directives of Director General Sports Punjab, Nadeem Sarwar. 

Tehsil Lahore City boys' athletics team battled hard to win the title among 54 other competitors who all showed their tremendous work and skills in the Athletics competitions. While Tehsil Lahore Cantt. and Model Town teams followed the winners as the runners-ups.

Director General Sports Punjab, Nadeem Sarwar has already announced that performance of althea players will be analyzed in the Annual Sports Calendar Inter-Tehsil events and the talented players will be picked for top level training camps under the supervision of qualified coaches and trainers.

Whereas in the Taable Tennis event, Tehsil Narowal boys emerged as winners in 3-team Inter-Tehsil table tennis and claimed the title. They were followed by Zafarwal team. In the first match, Bahawalpur City routed Hasilpur while Yazman remained successful against Ahmedpur East in the second match. Bahawalpur City demonstrated wonderful performance against Yazman in the third clash.

In the Girls Table Tennis event, Bahawalpur City trounced over Bahawalpur Sadar as they gained a hard fought victory in the game. Noshehra defeated Gujranwala Sadar in the final game.

In another Kabaddi event conducted, Tehsil Nankana sore past Shahkot registering an easy win.

At Jhang city Gymnasium Hall, more Girls and Boys Table Tennis matches were played in which Jhang boys team beat Shorkot city team while the title of girls' event went to Jhang as they secured the win against 18-Hazari.

In Volleyball event, Christian boys topple over Fort Abbas at Gymnasium Hall in Bahawal Nagar.
