Lahore win Inter-Tehsil Annual Sports Calendar 2018 Wrestling title
Wrestling, Kabaddi and Cricket event winners came up in the Inter-Tehsil Annual Sports Calendar 2018 competitions which are being staged from 22nd November to 14th December at different venues.
The Annual Sports Calendar competitions are being organized throughout Punjab as per directives of Director General Sports Punjab, Nadeem Sarwar.
Tehsil Lahore City boys came out the strongest sealing the title in the wrestling event. The winners are followed by Tehsil Lahore Cantt and the third spot went to Tehsil Model Town.
Whereas in the Kabaddi competitions, there were as many as 70 players from Safdarabad, Sheikhupura, Ferozwala, Muridke and Sharqpur were seen battling each other for the ultimate title again and after several exciting matches in which fighters exhibited their best of skills, Tehsil Safdarabad and Sheikhupura teams won the title.
Safdarabad defeated Sharqpur by 15 points in the first match. Sheikhupura sore past Muridke by a narrow margin of five points in the second encounter. The third match was played between Safdarabad and Sharqpur in which Safdarabad won by a thin margin of 5 points.
While in the 3-team competition of Kabaddi event, Tehsil Vehari emerged winner followed by Burewala and the third position went to Mailsi.

Tehsil Shorkot will face Jhang in the final of Inter-Tehsil Football Tournament.
Shorkot defeated Tehsil Ahmedpur Sial (1st Semi-Final)
Jhang defeated Tehsil 18-Hazari (2nd Sem-Final)
Earlier, Tehsil Model Town girls and boys clinched Sports board Punjab's Annual Sports Calendar Inter-Tehsil Table Tennis titles.
In the Cricket event, Tehsil Narowal boys won the 3-team cricket title while Zafarwal finished as runners-up in this competition.
