Shangrila Scrabble Champions Trophy to begin from 5th October
Shangrila Scrabble Champions Trophy is all set to begin from 5th October and will be conducted till 7th October at the Arts & Science Academy in Clifton Block 2, Karachi.
Pakistan Scrabble Association (PSA) is organizing the first ever Shangrila Scrabble Champions Trophy sponsored by Shangrila, Arts and Science Academy and Fruiti-O. The championship is scheduled to commence from October 5th to 7th as announced by PSA.
The Shangrila Champions Trophy is an invitation-only based tournament which will be featuring the top 26 players of Pakistan based on the national ratings. No less than five current and former national champions are in the race for the title.
A total of 27 games will be played over three days event and the winner will be awarded will the Shangrila Trophy. And an additional cash prize of 85,000 PKR is allocated for this elite tournament.
The tournament is arranged to give valuable practice to the players ahead of the eight-day World Scrabble Championship which scheduled later in the month in Torquay, England from October 20th to 28th 2018.
