Shotokan Karate Gujranwala triumph the Punjab Inter Club Team Karate Championship

Shotokan Karate International Centre Gujranwala win the Punjab Inter-Club Team Karate Championship at Gymnasium hall of Punjab College, Lahore.

Inter Club Punjab Team Kumite Karate Championship concluded at Gymnasium hall of Punjab College Feroze pur road Lahore. Total 28 clubs from all over the Punjab participated in this Championship.  

Shotokan Karate International Centre Gujranwala Club wins the championship while Ultimate Martial Art Centre Lahore secured the second spot and Punjab Karate Club Faisalabad, New Friends Shotokan Karate Centre Lahore secured third position.

The Championship was hold under the telnet roles of World Karate Federation. The Karate talent (Male) was used in the championship. Mr. Ejaz ul Haq, President, Islamabad Karate Association was the chief guest on the opening ceremony.

Mr. Abdul Hafeez Bhatti Director Sports Punjab was the Chief Guest on the closing ceremony while Mr. Arshad Sattar Director Sports, Punjab Group of Colleges and UCP Mr. Shahid Nizami Deputy Director Sports Punjab was the guest of honor. Rais ur Rehman AD Training and Dr. Nauman Saeed Sports Consultant Sports Board Punjab also grace the occasion.

Speaking on the occasion he appreciated the efforts of Punjab Karate Association for the promotion of karate in Punjab. He also praised and appreciated all athletes, Coaches, Technical Officials and Organizers for such a wonderful event. He also hoped that these types of event will enhance the capabilities of athletes and they will perform better in future events.

He distributed the medals and shields to the winners of the championship while on the ending notes Mr. Muhammad Jahangir, President Punjab Karate Association thanked the chief guest and all participants for this championship.
