Lahore brush off Peshawar in Hockey super league

Lahore Lions outplayed Peshawar Deers 4-1 while Quetta Panthers and Islamabad Shaheen ended in 1-1 draw in the Women Hockey Super League at the National Hockey Stadium, Lahore.

 
Two matches were played on the day two of the 2nd Women Hockey Super League at the National Hockey Stadium, Lahore. 

The first thrilling encounter was seen between Lahore Loins and Islamabad Shaheen where both the teams tried their best to convert goal but match ended on a draw at 1-1. Momal scored a goal for Quetta Panthers while Sidra Kanwal contributed a goal for Islamabad Shaheen.

Lahore Lions in the second encounter trashed Peshawar Deers by 4-1 in a one sided match. Sidra Parvaiz scored a brace while Shahrika Sarwar and Areeba Sarwar struck one goal apiece for the Lahore Lions. Faiqa Riaz scored the only goal for Peshawar Deers.
