Winning start for Indus academy in boys, girls basketball competitions
Indus academy opened their account with double wins as their boys and girls teams remained victorious in the Brig (r) Rashid Ali Malik memorial inter-school (A-Levels) boys and girls basketball championships at the Arambagh court, Karachi.

The boys team of Indus college earned victory in a low scoring match where they defeated Beaconhouse North Nazimabad by 20-9. Danial Dada scored 10 points while Taimoor Saeed contributed eight. Zaryab Khan earned 2 from Indus College. Maaz and Ajwad scored six and three points from Beaconhouse North Nazimabad team.
It was Beaconhouse North Nazimabad’s first defeat in two outings. They outplayed City School PECHS in their first group D match.
Girls from Indus College also followed the footsteps of boys as they toppled Beaconhouse North Nazimabad by 16-4.
Arfa Khan showed her presence as she contributed in double figures, 10 points followed by Sheezal Iftikhar with four and Hiba Faraz with 2. Tooba Younus and Sundus Khalid shared four points each from Beaconhouse North Nazimabad.
