Islamabad Jinns shocks Lahore Hawks in Rugby League

Islamabad Jinns outplayed Lahore Hawks rugby club in the ongoing 5th Servis tyre 15-a side rugby league match played at at Pakistan Rugby Academy Lahore cantonment.

The match was played in a good spirit and a large number of crowed was present to witness the match where Islamabad Jinns stunned Lahore Hawks by 49-20. Islamabad Jinns started the match in high spirits where they successfully scored through Bilal in the 9th minute of the first half. In the 15th minute of the game Saad Arif also scored for Islamabad but in the 19th minute, Arif scored for Lahore Hawaks.

Ibrahim scored another goal for Islamabad in the 22nd minute and before the half times ends, Afif again scored for Hawks on penalty and grabbed 3 points. At the halfway, Islamabad was leading against Lahore by 17 to 6. In the second half, Junns’s Hammad scored 3 while Romail added 2 for his team. Waqas and Arif scored 1 each from Hawks and at the end Islamabad Jinns won the match by 49-20 against Lahore Hawks.

Chairman Pakistan Rugby Union Fawzi Khawaja, Head coach Shakeel Malik Rugby Services Manager Syed Mozzam Ali Shah and large number of rugby players were also present during the match.
