Century break for Mudassir in U-21 snooker championship

Punjab’s Mudassir registers the first century break on the last day of league stage in the ongoing Jubliee Insurance National Junior U-21 snooker championship at Pakistan Sports board, Islamabad.

Sheikh Muhammad Mudassir shines in the pre-quarterfinal round as he outplayed Hussain Godil from Sindh. Mudassir reached the milestone of 100 as he played a break of 108 in the second frame, previous record of highest break was 94 played by Haris Tahir from Punjab against KPK’s Muhammad Rafiq on the very first day of competition. Mudassir outclassed Hussain with 79-15, 108-0, 57-3.

Punjab’s cueists dominated the day as Usman Ahmed, Ahsan Ramzan and Muhammad Umar Khan also won their matches to complete the round of 16 line-up.
