Army continue dominance in 12 Korean Taekwondo Championship

Pakistan Army’s athletes once again played brilliantly to dominate the day four of 12th Korean Ambassador National Taekwondo Championship 2017.

 

Pakistan Army once again ruling the day four of 12th Korean Ambassador National Taekwondo Championship 2017 followed by Azmare Academy in the points table. In Men’s events, Army secured 1st position with 105 points followed by WAPDA with 86 points and with 28 points each Railways and HEC on third position. Pakistan Army won 5 gold 3 silver medals while WAPDA second with 2 gold, 5 silver and 1 bronze and Railways with 6 bronze got the third position.

On the fourth day of championship in female events, Azmare Academy leading the points table with 1 gold, 2 silver and 1 bronze (39 points). Pakistan Army with 1 gold 1 silver (25 points) and Sindh Green with 1 silver and 2 bronze (20 points).

Muneeba Sher from Pakistan Army secured the 1st position in female under 49 Kg (Fly Weight) while Ramsha Khan from WAPDA secured 2nd and Laraib Manan from HEC got third position. In female under 53 Kg (Bantam Weight) Samia naz from WAPDA secured 1st position. Army’s Ayesha Noor got second and Iqra Shareef from Railways got 3rd position. Zainab from KPK won the female under 57kg (Feather Weight) category while Army’s Farseen Hamdani secured 2nd and Farheen from WAPDA got 3rd position.

In female under 62 Kg (Light Weight) category, Yamna Siddiqui from Army got first, Misbah Maqbool from Wapda earned second and Haseen Jamal from Sindh secured third. In female under 67 Kg (Welter Weight) category, Mahnoor from Pakistan Army came first, WAPDA’s Tayyaba Khanam ended on second) and Rabia from HEC earned third). In female under 73 Kg (Middle Weight) category, Ghulam Fatima from WAPDA won first position, Nusrat Bibi from Army got second and Aqsa from Railway secured third position.
