19-year-old Shehroze Kashif becomes youngest Pakistani to climb K2 at 8611 meters

The 19-year-old Shehroze Kashif, become the youngest Pakistani to reach the summit of K2, the world’s second highest peak.

After successfully scaling Mount Everest, the 19-year-old Shehroze Kashif, become the youngest Pakistani to reach the summit of K2, the world’s second highest peak.

According to Secretary Alpine Club of Pakistan Karrar Haidri we have received the confirmation from K2 Base Camp that Shehroze Kashif has summited K2 8611-M at 8:10 am today (27th July) and made a history.

Hailing from Lahore, Shehroze started climbing at the age of just 11 from 3000m and took his passion to the next stage by reaching 4000 and then 6000 and then to 8000.

• Chambra Oeak (4600m)—Age 12

• Mangliksar Shimshal (6050m)—Age 13

• Khurdopin Pass (5890m)—Age 15

• Broad Peak (8047m)—Age 17

• Khusar Gang-Alpine Style (6050m)—Age 18

• Mount Everest ( 8849m)—Age 19

• K2 (8611m) —Age 19
