Peshawar Red emerges DC Peshawar Hockey League 2021 Champions

Peshawar Red grabbed the trophy of Deputy Commissioner Peshawar Hockey League 2021 by outplaying Green 2-0 in the final.

Deputy Commissioner Peshawar Hockey League 2021 organized by District Sports Officer Peshawar concluded successfully at Lala Ayub Hockey Stadium, Peshawar.

Peshawar Red grabbed the trophy of Deputy Commissioner Peshawar Hockey League 2021 by outplaying Green 2-0 in the final.

In the final, full-back Zahid slammed in two perfect goals on his penalty corner conversion in the 28th and 66th minute to stamp the fate of rivals.

Peshawar Green team bestowed a penalty shoot-out but center-half Asad futile to convert and thus Peshawar Red marched into 2-0 victory.

Deputy Commissioner Peshawar Captain (Retd) Khalid Mahmood graced the ceremony as chief and distributed trophies, certificates and cash prizes among winners.

The event had the presence of Chairman Provincial Hockey Association, former IG Muhammad Saeed Khan, President Syed Zahir Shah and Secretary Hidayat Ullah, Director sports Merged Area Pir Abdullah Shah and DSO Peshwar Tahseen Ullah.
