Bilal, Aamir secure share of lead in PGF Qualifying School 2021-22

Syed Bilal Hussain of Multan and Aamir Khan of Peshawar advanced into a share of the lead after the second round.

The Pakistan Golf Federation (PGF) Qualifying School 2021-22 got underway at the Royal Palm Golf and PAF Skyview courses in Lahore.

This Qualifying School contest is competing over four rounds, the first and second round at Royal Palm Golf Course and PAF Skyview Golf Course alternately.

Syed Bilal Hussain of Multan and Aamir Khan of Peshawar advanced into a share of the lead after the second round.

Promising Bilal (72) and Aamir (73) are at one-over 145, two shots ahead of a group of six that comprises Peshawar’s Zeeshan and Mohammed Bilal, Rawalpindi’s Minhaj Maqsood and Mohammed Siddique and Lahore Garrison’s Asif Shafi and Mohammed Saeed.

More five golfers are four shots off the lead: Lahore Gymkhana trio of Aasher Masih, Kamaran Shafiq and Mohammad Rizwan, Lahore Garrison’s Nasir Masih and Azhar Masood of Islamabad.

The top 55 finishers among 282 partakers at the four-round event will get the professionals’ card.
