Youth Hockey Club, KHA Women’s, KHA Blues shows their enduring class in Kashmir Day Exhibition matches

Karachi Hockey Association organized the exhibition hockey matches to mark the Kashmir solidarity day at the KHA Sports Complex, Karachi.

Youth Hockey Club easily outplayed Hanif Khan XI by 3-1. Aliyan Saleem, Hammad Ayaz and Shazaib Khan scored one goal each for the winners while Naeem Ahmed from the opposite team reduced the margin for the losers.

KHA Women’s Orange defeated KHA Women’s Blue by 1-0 where Mehreen Khan netted the only goal for winners.

The match between Musheer Rabbani XI and Rashid Rabbani XI ended in a goalless draw.

KHA Blues won the boys under-9 match by defeating KHA Orange 1-0. Umer Hasan scored the only goal. In the last match KHA Orange defeated KHA Blues 1-0.

Vice Chancellor of the NED Engineering University Professor Dr Sarosh Lodhi graced the ceremony as chief guest on the occasion and gave away the prizes.

Sindh Minister for Women Empowerment Syeda Shehla Raza also spoke on the occasion and said:

“It’s a good omen that grounds of the city have started to fill with young boys and girls which is a healthy sign.”
