Aqeel Khan, Ushna Suhail emerge title winners of 5th HTR Open Tennis Championship 2020

The 5th edition of Hasan Tariq Rahim (HTR) Open Tennis Championship 2020 culminated successfully with the top seed Aqeel Khan and national ladies champion Ushna Suhail sealed the men’s and women’s singles titles at Gymkhana tennis courts, Lahore.

Pakistan tennis icon, Aqeel Khan overpowered spirited Muzammil Murtaza by 6-3, 6-4.

The ladies single’s final also proved a one-sided affair, where national ladies champion Ushna Suhail outsmarted former no.1 Sarah Mehboob in straight sets with a score of 6-1, 6-2.

This is Ushna’s second consecutive title in three weeks.

 Pakistan tennis star Aisam-ul-Haq also watched the matches. He told reporters he is recovering fast and will participate in the Australian Open in February.
