Ahsan, Eraj, Farhan earn victories in Taqwiyat Ul Iman School Sindh Ranking Tennis Championships

Ahsan Siddiq of Modern Club was fully extended by Hyderabad’s Bilal Khan in the pre-quarter final of the men’s singles in the first Taqwiyat Ul Iman School Sindh Ranking Tennis Championships at Union Club, Karachi.

 

On the fifth day of first Taqwiyat Ul Iman School Sindh Ranking Tennis Championships a lot of exciting tennis matches were seen at Union Club, Karachi.

In the pre-quarter final of the men’s singles, Ahsan Siddiq of Modern Club was in good form as he defeated Hyderabad’s Bilal Khan by 4-5, 7-5, 10-5.

Eraj Batool, an international level soft tennis player, earned a place in the final of ladies singles (soft event) event when she thrashed Marium Shahid 4-1 in the semi-final.

The closing ceremony of the championship will be held on 18th September at 5:00pm.

Mens Doubles (quarter-finals): Zubair Raja-Saad Saleem bt Zeerak Khan-Hashir Suhail 8-2
Ladies Singles (quarter-finals): Sabrina Khan beat Rukhsar Mirza 8-4; Marium Shahid beat Yumna Malik 8-0
Soft Tennis Mens Singles (quarters): Eibad Sarwar beat Hashir Suhail 4-0; Sheroz Hasan beat Zerak Khan 4-1; Usama Saeed beat Youhana 4-1; Muhammad Ali beat Saad Ahmed 4-0
Under 15 Singles (quarters): Ayaan Yousuf beat Dhuraf Das
Under 13 Singles (quarters): Ibrahim Qureshi bt Bilal Shah 4-0, 4-0.
