PAF Base Faisal wins Inter-Base Golf title
Pakistan Air-force Base Faisal won the inter-base golf championship in a commanding fashion behind strong game play of Wing Commander Atif Hussain to secure a 21 stroke victory over nearest rivals.
Wing Commander Atif Hussain Khan played an instrumental role in leading PAF Base Faisal to victory in the Pakistan Air Force Inter-Base Golf Championship in Peshawar.
The talented golfer was also crowned PAF individual champion.
Atif, who is a National Games gold-medalist, was at his best in the championship as he guided his team to victory in the four-day event.
The Faisal Base team was not counted as one of the favorites but surprised many by surging to victory by a huge margin of 21 strokes after the first day of the championship was washed out.
Chief of Air Staff, Air Chief Marshal Mujahid Anwar Khan, was the chief guest at the prize distribution ceremony held at the Peshawar Golf Club.
