Golf season to tee off with D. Habib Memorial National Professional Tournament

The golf season for 2020 would officially tee off on Thursday (today) with commencement of Rashid D. Habib Memorial National Professional Tournament at Karachi Golf Club.

The country’s golf season tees off today (Thursday) with Bank AL Habib’s Rashid D. Habib Memorial National Professional Tournament at the Karachi Golf Club.

Matloob Ahmed defending his title, is favored for a repeat. 

As per Pakistan Golf Federation’s (PGF) rules, the main tournament will be played over 72 holes with cut over final two days.

Senior National Professionals & Junior Professionals will also be playing in their respective categories concurrently.

A two-day match for local professionals & caddies of KGC is also underway.

Country’s top golfers including M. Shabbir, Matloob Ahmed, Muhammad Munir, Mohammad Tariq, M Nazir, Ahmed Baig and Waheed Baloch have confirmed their participation in the national professional category while a number of senior pros are also set to compete in the Seniors category.
