Pakistan Customs reached the final after defeating multiple teams in a tournament held at Bangkok, Thailand. Their tremendous run came to an end when they were defeated by giants Pakistan Air Force hockey team. As many as six teams participated in the tournament.

In the final match, Pakistan Custom tried their best to defeat a well settled Thailand Air Force team. They gave a tough time to Thailand Air Force but their efforts were not enough. 

Pakistan Customs scored two beautiful goals in the finals. One goal was scored by Syed Allay Hassan when he finished the ball beautifully at the bottom corner of the goal. Second goal was scored by Ch Hassan Akhtar Rasool when he strike a decent shot to pass the Thailand Air Force keeper.

Unfortunately these two goals were not enough to defeat well settled Thailand Air Force team and they clinched the final by a scoreline of 4-2.

Despite the loss, M. Waqas Hassan stole the limelight when he was awarded with the best goalkeeper of the tournament award for his remarkable performance throughout the tournament. 

Participation in such tournaments should be highly appreciated. These type of tournaments can give a lot of exposure to the players that can help to improve the standards of hockey of the country.
