Nadir, Zain, Ahmed, Talha win Commissioner Cup ATF U-14 Super Tennis Series 2019 openers
Nadir Mirza, Zain Ehtisham, Ahmed Neil, Talha Aman overwhelmed their respective rivals in the first round on the opening day of the Commissioner Cup ATF U-14 Super Series Tennis at Karachi Gymkhana.
On the opening day of Commissioner Cup ATF U-14 Super Tennis Series, fledgling Nadir Mirza, Zain Ehtisham, Ahmed Neil, Talha Aman overwhelmed their respective rivals in the ATF U-14 first round at Karachi Gymkhana.
In the Sindh ranking U-17 final round, Ghufran Faiz, Ammar Ismail and Saim Danish won their matches. In the under-13 singles first round, Ahsan Ahmed, Ibrahim Sajjad, Samar Zaman, Abdullah Aftab and Dhuraf Das triumphed in their respective matches.
Earlier, the tournament was inaugurated by DC South Syed Salahuddin who lauded the holding of the sports event and said tournaments like these will promote harmony and sportsman spirit in the society.
Also present on the occasion were PTF vice president Khalid Shamsi, Khalid Rehmani, coordinator Ghulam Mohammad, ITF qualified referee Arif Qureshi and media coordinator Mohammad Arshad were also present.
The tournament is being jointly hosted by Pakistan Tennis Federation and Shamsi Tennis Academy.
