Ejaz Khan of Peshawar seizes PGF & PGA - Punjab Golf Development Tour 2019
The 2nd Punjab Golf Development Tour wrapped up successfully with Peshawar's Ejaz Khan taking home the title victory at PAF Skyview Golf Course in Lahore.
Magnificent game play of Ejaz Khan from Peshawar made it possible for him to triumph over his opponents to earn the title victory of the Punjab Jinnah Development Golf Tour 2019 which successfully concluded at PAF Skyview Golf Course in Lahore.
Ejaz was able to accumulate a three-day aggregate of 209 with his splendid skills in the game which earned him a hefty cash prize and an elevation to the mainstream of professional golf in Pakistan. The final day round saw Ejaz posting another card of under-par 71, adding to 69 each day he scored on previous days to make up the winning aggregate.
He was followed by the Runner up, Lahore Garrison's, Asif Shafi with the three-day aggregate of 213. With this second spot win, he also joined the ranks of accomplished golf professionals of the national golf circuit and from now will be able to take part in open golf championships.
Shahbaz Masih from Karachi Golf Club scored a total aggregate of 214, two under par while Muhammad Saqib of Lahore Garrison and Peshawar's Azmat Khan, both scored a total aggregate of 216. One score behind, at 217, stood three other golfers named: Sunny Masih of Gymkhana, Zahir Shah and Shahid Khan.
