DFA Green emerges Kohat region winner of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Ufone Football Tournament 2019
Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Ufone Football Tournament 2019 now have another city qualifier which stands as DFA Green from Kohat region.
Kohat region had several matches played among which DFA Green Team has been crowned the champion as they boys defeated their opponents, DFA Red on penalty shootout. The final match started on a high pace from both sides and players from either side were not allowing any attempts to pass through their net post.
But the two teams got successful with landing one goal each in the opponent's net post but after equalizing the score line, none of the boys were able to score for their side anymore which resulted in a 1-1 draw match as the final whistle blew.
To then determine the one and true winner, penalty shootout was held where DFA Green's goal player proved to be too good for the DFA Red team as he allowed no goals to pass through the goal post while DFA Red side allowed all of the five goals to get past through their net post which thus benefited DFA Green who then easily emerged as the champion team.
Ufone with the aim to help endorse football in the province and prove to be a great platform for the emerging young players to learn and display their footballing skills, has organized the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Ufone Football Tournament for the first time ever.
