Ocean Mall FIFA 19 Farewell Tournament wound up successfully

As many as 128 players came up front to showcase their skills in the 2019 Ocean Mall FIFA Farewell Tournament which successfully concluded at Ocean Mall in Karachi.

In rain-soaked Karachi, against all odds, some enthusiastic FIFA athletes made their way through the storm and flooding streets, showing up at the venue to compete in the mega Ocean Mall FIFA 19 Farewell Tournament which then eventually was able to meet our expected number of 128 players.

The tournament kicked off with the group stages where the best were separated from the rest as 64 top players were seen making their way through their respective groups. One of these qualifying players stood Pakistan Cyber Gaming's one and only female athlete, Tuba.

The finals of those 64 players were shuffled and faced each other in 6-minute knockout matches. The real surprise actually came in the quarter-finals when Talha Siddiqui beat tournament-favorite Zain Ali Shah 4-3 in the extra-time of a very intense match that could have gone either way. Then, when the odds were all in Talha’s favor, another shocker came as Farmal beat him in the very next round and reserved his spot in the final.

From the other side, Arham Ghori made his way to the finals defeating the Rehman brothers, Areeb and Ezan in the quarters and semis, respectively. Areeb and Ezan were also without doubt amongst the top players of the tournament after making a name for themselves with their performances in B. Lab FIFA Championship. Farmal and Arham proved that there are more than just a few talented players in Karachi who are yet undiscovered by the community. Farmal then went on to win the final and become the ultimate champion.

Pakistan Cyber Gaming organized this mega e-sports event were as many as 128 players featured to showcase their best skill set so as to emerge winners in their respective competitions. The credits to success of this event goes to the moderators which are; Zain Ali, Zia Ali, Talha Siddiqui, Ashar Abbas and Ghanim.
